About Matt Redman
Matt Redman (born 1974) is an English worship leader, singer-songwriter, and author from Watford, England, who began leading worship as a teenager and co-founded the Soul Survivor youth movement and festival with Mike Pilavachi in 1993. Across a career of more than 16 albums, his songs include The Heart of Worship, Blessed Be Your Name, and 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord), some of the most widely sung modern worship songs. 10,000 Reasons, co-written with Jonas Myrin, earned him two Grammy Awards.
