About “Great Things”

Phil Wickham wrote the song with Jonas Myrin while he was leading worship regularly at Harvest Christian Fellowship, where he felt the services needed more upbeat songs that were easy to catch on to but still had depth. Wickham has said the song was born out of necessity and came from reflecting on the many people in Scripture who praise God as one who does great things. It was released in June 2018 as a single from his album Living Hope.
