About “Höher”
Höher, German for Higher, is the German version of ICF Worship's own English song Higher, written by Dominik Laim of the music collective of the ICF church movement founded in Zurich; the original appeared on their 2015 album Pouring Love. The German text was crafted by Jennifer Pepper, Sarah Keim, Zippora Schneider-Ulrich and Steffen Bodemer, and uses mountain imagery to sing of a God who stands higher than everything else. It became the title track of the band's 2018 German-language album, recorded live with vocalist Juri Friesen.
