About “Make Room”

Make Room was written by Rebekah White, former Paramore guitarist Josh Farro, and Brazilian songwriters Evelyn Heideriqui and Lucas Cortazio, and was first popularized through a 2019 live recording by Cortazio's group Community Music. This version, a 2020 single from Word Worship Music's The Church Will Sing project pairing the song with congregational voices and vocalist Elyssa Figueroa, carried it to a much wider church audience. Cortazio has described the song as a prayer for God to take the place that is rightfully His in our lives.
