About “Revelation Song”
Jennie Lee Riddle wrote the song at home in 1999 on a guitar she rarely played, praying for a song that painted Him, a song that the angels and creation were already singing, so that we could join in with one voice. Its text paraphrases the throne room worship of Revelation 4 and 5. Kari Jobe became its signature voice, singing it on Christ for the Nations' 2004 recording Glorious and on Gateway Worship's 2006 album Living for You, before including it on her self-titled 2009 debut.
