About Passion
Passion is the worship band of the Passion Conferences movement, founded by Louie Giglio in 1997 to gather college students, and is based at Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Most of its albums are recorded live at the annual Passion gatherings and released through sixstepsrecords, the label the movement launched in 2000. Worship leaders associated with the band have included Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman and Christy Nockels, with Kristian Stanfill, Melodie Malone and Brett Younker leading in recent years.
