About “How Deep The Father's Love For Us - Live”
Stuart Townend wrote this modern hymn in 1995, and has said of it that he had been meditating on the cross, and in particular what it cost the Father to give up his beloved Son to a torturous death on a cross, adding that the melody flowed so naturally he felt he must have pinched it from somewhere. Twenty years later, Austin Stone Worship, the music ministry of The Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, Texas, recorded this live version in May 2015. It appeared on their sixth album, This Glorious Grace, released October 16, 2015 through The Fuel Music.
