Chris Tomlin, born in 1972 in Grand Saline, Texas, is an American worship leader and songwriter who co-founded the Passion Conferences with Louie Giglio in 1997 and later helped launch Passion City Church in Atlanta, where he served as a worship leader. He is one of the most sung songwriters in the modern church, known for songs including How Great Is Our God, Holy Is the Lord, Our God and Holy Forever. He has won a Grammy and numerous Dove Awards, and Time magazine has described him as possibly the most often sung artist in the world.
